TWO DOZEN THINGS YOU CAN DO WITHOUT PERMISSION
1. Start a home Bible study
in your home.
2. Start a Bible story time
for children in your home.
3. Mail appropriate tracts
and brief teaching materials.
4. Leave good religious
magazines in doctor’s offices, hospital waiting areas,
airports,
etc.
5. Visit a nursing home and
spend time with someone who has few visitors.
6. Call about members who
miss assemblies or are announced as sick.
7. Welcome all visitors to
our assemblies.
8. Visit those who have
recently visited our assemblies.
9. Take a treat and a warm
invitation to services to new neighbors.
10. Write letters and send
notes to those bereaved, especially as times passes.
11. Write missionaries and those in caring ministries
(children homes, etc.).
12. Identify a needy family and take them food,
clothing, or other needs.
13. Baby-sit for couples who need a night out or who
are doing good works.
14. Personally advertise free Bible correspondence
courses.
15. Invite children to Bible classes, Bible Hour, and
VBS.
16. Invite adults and youth to meetings, seminars and
regular classes.
17. Take someone out to eat or invite them to a meal
in your home for fellowship.
18. Take a remembrance to a shut-in.
19. Send a note of appreciation to a Bible teacher,
elder, deacon, minister or other
faithful worker.
20. Make a special monetary gift to some good work
that needs help.
21. Share locations of Christian websites with
contacts on the internet.
22. Give away good Christian books, tapes and CD’s to
those around you.
23. Pray through our prayer list and our church
directory.
24. Pick up trash, papers, etc. in and around the
church building as you encounter s
such.
